Englisch B2/C1 - English for academic purposes (EAP) - Onlinekurs

This course is aimed at students that intend to develop their English for university studies in an English academic environment in Germany or abroad. We will focus on all four skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing in an academic setting. Students will learn the key principles of academic English, engaging in diverse activities to gain greater confidence in their language skill. Presentation skills, listening to lectures, note-taking skills, identifying reliable sources, skimming and scanning, incorporating referencing as well as writing extended essays and developing a thesis are topics that will be covered during the course. There will also be room for much discussion and vocabulary development in simulation of a university context.
